College Advising
Applying to college is one of the most significant processes that a student will undertake in his or her lifetime. We can help students decide which schools to apply to, juggle deadlines, take the required tests, write an effective essay, find scholarships, prep for interviews, pick which school to attend once accepted, and more.
We guide students (and parents!) every step of the way so that they know their options and feel empowered to make the best possible decisions.
Subject Area Tutoring
Our tutors can help build students' skills and confidence in nearly any subject. We cover the basics — math, science, English, history, foreign language — but we have also helped graduate students write their thesis papers, second graders feel more confident in their reading skills, and struggling high schoolers organize their busy lives. Study Skills
Most students aren't taught how to do well in school. Skills like time management, note taking, studying for tests and planning for big projects and assignments come naturally to some students. For many students, however, these skills need to be taught. We love helping students to get organized and learn how to be successful at any stage in their educations.
